Final Outcome
This photograph is the final result of this projects 'Prosthetic Transformation'. I have turned my model into Archille Deveria, a French painter from the 19th century. For the final makeup I have used a bald cap, refronted wig, closed mould nose prosthetic, silicone flatpiece prosthetics and a beard and moustache. Each of these have been created by myself and have advanced my skills greatly in each area of focus.
Self Evaluation
I was not as pleased with my final makeup as I was hoping for, the practical application did not goes smoothly and I encountered a few issues in the summative. However I think that I managed to make the final portrait look successful and therefore fit the brief effectively. I used some of my photoshop skills to create the smooth finish and impose the head onto the original portrait. I think having the access to model more often would have been helpful as I could have practised certain techniques and gained a better understanding of what could be improved and altered. However that being said there are elements that I am proud of and I believe work very well in the makeup design.
