Prosthetic Makeup Transformation

 

Project Brief

 

Using the taught technical processes of dramatic makeup, postiche, hair work and prosthetic design you will re-create a 'live version' of a histoical portrait. Your character ust contain one flat silicone piece and on 'feature' piece made in a closed mould fromt he material of your choice. Your character development in your logbook should explain and moreover justify your choices of make-up materials that express the evolution or mutations needed for your final design realisation. You must evidence your contextual and technical understanding through research and annotated development.

 

Using this brief as the basis of my project I will undergo research, experimentation and development in order to create a successful final outcome. This will project will mean the devleopment of skills such as sculpting, casting and postiche work and also the undertaking of new techniques and processes such as mould making and casting.
